2014 Van's RV-12

Highlights

• This Vans RV-12 is light, fun, and easy to fly, offering responsive handling and stable performance for pilots of all levels. Its striking paint job draws attention on any tarmac. Known for efficiency, low operating costs, and easy maintenance, it’s the perfect mix of performance and practicality.

Exterior

• This RV-12 sports a custom space-themed paint job by John Stahr. Set against a medium-dark blue base, the design features black, gold, purple, and white accents. The pilot side of the horizontal stabilizer shows a molten planet, while the passenger side displays an exploding star. Fire streaks down both sides of the fuselage, with the "RV-12" and tail number airbrushed into the design.

Interior

• The interior is done in complementing shades of gray with both vinyl and fabric seats. Seats were upgraded with Confor-Foam in 2024.

Known Flaws

• Small area of paint bubbles on the right wing. Trailing edge of lower rudder slightly bent due to gust lock failing (new gust lock included to prevent this from happening again).
