Additional Remarks
- he Piper PA28 needs no formal introduction but is a family of four-seat light aircraft built by Piper Aircraft and designed for flight training, air taxi and personal use. The PA28 family of aircraft comprises all-metal, unpressurised, single-engined, piston-powered airplanes with low-mounted wings and tricycle landing gear. They have a single door on the right side, which is entered by stepping on the wing.
- In 1967, Piper introduced the PA28R-180 Cherokee Arrow. This aircraft featured a constant-speed propeller and retractable landing gear and was powered by a 180-horsepower (134-kW) Lycoming IO-360-B1E engine. A 200-hp (149-kW) version powered by a Lycoming IO-360-C1C was offered as an option beginning in 1969 and designated the PA-28R-200; the 180-hp model was dropped after 1971. At the time the Arrow was introduced, Piper removed the Cherokee 150 and Cherokee 160 from production.
- Whiskey Romeo benefits from impressive low engine hours and low airframe hours for an aircraft of this era. She has exceptional maintenance records and history dating back to near birth. G-AVWR really needs to be viewed in person to see its real beauty.
- Located in the South West of England at Dunkeswell Airfield (EGTU), WR is ready to be flown away, make memories and enjoyed by its new owner.
