Highlights

  • This aircraft has got significant WW2 history and arrived in the ETO on 2nd Sept 1944 and saw service under General George S Patton’s 3rd Army. It was active in the Battle of the Bulge and at Bastogne. It crossed the Rhine in the advance toward Czechoslovakia. It remained in Germany until 1946 and sold to Belgium and entered civilian service. Recovered from Germany again in 1980’s and returned to flight in the USA.
