Additional Remarks
- The Robin R.1180 Aiglon is a French four-seat touring and training monoplane, designed and constructed by Avions Robin.
- This aircraft features an all-metal, low-wing design with a fixed tricycle landing gear. It is powered by a nose-mounted 180 hp (134 kW) Lycoming O-360-A3AD engine. The Aiglon is based on the early HR100 model but has a lighter airframe and a redesigned fin and rudder. The prototype’s maiden flight was on March 25, 1977, and the production version, which included detailed improvements, received certification on September 19, 1978.
- Charlie Echo benefits from good paintwork and an acceptable leather interior and only having 2208hrs on the airframe she is considered a low time example.
